Visitors look at a 4/5 scale snow sculpture of Bangkok's Chakri Maha Prasat Grand Palace at the Odori park in central Sapporo. The annual snow festival has kicked off with some 300 snow and ice statues on display, as some two million people are expected to visit the seven-day-long festival.
