Hi all, The verdict is in and it seems the majority of people are able to or prefer Wednesday, December 2, 2009 for our meeting in the Cross-Cultural Center Board Room at 12:00 noon. I will prepare an agenda and am open to suggestions for discussion items. Please let me know what you would like to include for the agenda NO LATER than 5:00PM on Monday, December 1. See you on Wednesday.

Hi all, Happy Week 9! Also, welcome to those staff members that were able to join us at the recent town hall held in the Dr. Joseph L. White Conference Room. As we discussed briefly afterward, we are looking to reinvigorate AAFSA and look to each of you to potentially share your talent within this organization.

As a start, we will be holding a 1-hour meeting to discuss some ideas for upcoming events (Lunar New Year Dinner/Fundraiser) as well as suggestions for the next step for the association. I cannot recollect what restrictions were shared and so reserved two tentative times during Week 10, both at 12 noon at the Cross-Cultural Center.

Please let me know if you have a preference.

How to Join AAFSA...

The Asian American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFSA) at UCI invites you to join today. General meetings are always open and we encourage faculty and staff to attend our programs. If you are unable to attend in person, you may participate online through our AAFSA Bulletin Board or by sending questions, comments, or issues of concern to us via mail, e-mail, phone, or website.

Or you may join by completing and returning the AAFSA membership form with an annual membership dues check for $20 payable to AAFSA. Funds collected for AAFSA are used for programs, scholarships, and operational expenses.

Dear AAFSA,

I would like to become a member but there is an error in directing to the online form. Please advise.

Also, I'm disappointed that I can't find contact informations anywhere on this website. I really hope this email is not posted publicly...if so, I would like to apologize to everyone in advance.
