Week 3 – Meeting

This week is going to be a general meeting. We may have a Professor talk to us. If not, we will be discussing Wayzgoose. This is a University-wide event that will take place in Aldrich Park on April 17th. Our club will have a booth and we will be selling skewers and soda to raise funds for our club. Members are requested to sign up for shifts to attend the booth and help out. Those of you who are hoping to hold an officer’s position next year, this is an excellent opportunity to impress current officers. They will have a major say in who runs the club next year. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday at 6:30pm in Nat. Sci. II room 2201.

P.S. To All paid Chemistry Members: Please bring the completed ACS membership form (different from the club membership) and turn it in to one of the officers. (Do not need to attach money and please put your house address instead of your campus address).

About UCI Chemistry Club

Hi everyone. We are the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates also known as the Chemistry Club in UC Irvine. The Chemistry Club is an undergraduate organization that is committed to help other undergraduates on campus to reach their educational and career goals by showing them many opportunities that are available through the field of chemistry. Our focus this year is green chemistry, and we are planning to incorporate the idea of global warming and recycling in our events. As a club, we hope to provide our members with valuable workshops and information for those who are interested in graduate or medical schools as well as industrial field.
