Hi everyone. We are the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates also known as the Chemistry Club in UC Irvine. The Chemistry Club is an undergraduate organization that is committed to help other undergraduates on campus to reach their educational and career goals by showing them many opportunities that are available through the field of chemistry. Our focus this year is food science, and we are learning more about the chemistry behind cooking and human nutrition at our events. As a club, we hope to provide our members with valuable workshops and information for those who are interested in graduate or medical schools as well as industrial field.
Mission: Our focus this year is food science. In general meetings, we have guest speakers from any field of study and information about incoming club activities. We welcome students of any major to join the club. So, come check out our meetings and events. This is a great opportunity to meeting new people and enjoy the fun behind chemistry!
