In progress of developing a tutoring project at Sherman Indian High School located in Riverside, CA. Sherman is a all Native, federally run, boarding school for 9th through 12th grade high school students from across the nation. Ranging from as far north as Alaska (Inuit) as well as far east to Florida (Creek) and New York (Mohawk). This project will give UCI student tutors the unique opportunity of assisting Native students from across the country in one place every week. Sherman students can benefit from the UCI tutors by asking questions about how to get to college and how to maintain once you get there from a first hand experience, not to mention help with their coursework.
