The Asian Pacific Student Association is now accepting applications to be on board for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Examples of Past Events
- Vote Project: in light of the 2008 Presidential Election, APSA registered over 300 students to vote as a part of a 6 week project, as well as constructed a monument through which students could voice their opinions concerning issues surroundingAsian Pacific American Awareness Conference: annual conference, this past year being the 24th, providing a space in which students can be educated about an API issue, and be empowered to be active for the community
- Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month: events are held throughout the month to commemorate and educate the students about issues relevant to the API community

- There are multiple off campus organizations with whom we have collaborated, including: APIA Vote, OCAPICA, APALC, APIPFLAG
APSA Positions
- External Chair: acts as a representative and liaison of APSA to clubs and organizations on other campuses, and serves as the liaison between APSA, and Community Based Organizations (CBO's)
- Internal Chair: provides direction to APSA internal affairs, including but not limited to General Membership, major APSA events, Elections, Internship Program and Mentoring Program
- Constituents Chair: acts as the liaison between constituents and the APSA Board; facilitates the attendance of the constituents' club meetings; works for educating, informing, outreaching, and advocating to and for constituents
- Advocacy Chair: represents and advocates for issues concerning APSA and the API community; attends legislative council meetings in order to lobby, represent, an address concerns of APSA and the API community
- Education Chair: serves as the liaison between APSA and the Asian American Studies Department; programs workshops and forums to educate APSA members and Constituents about Asian American Studies, API history, or API issues
- Social Chair: responsible for coordinating all social activities coordinated by APSA. This includes, but not limited to, all parties, meeting after-events, etc.; assists the General Membership Coordinator in regards to social activities
- Treasurer: responsible for all monetary matters i.e. coordinates fundraisers, maintains all financial records, serves as primary contact with ASUCI in regards to financial matters and event accounts, etc.
- Secretary: handles all general correspondence (i.e. emailing board members updates, minutes, etc.); serves as the general office manager by taking minutes at Board meetings, keeping an updated roster of all members, etc.
- Program Coordinators
- APAAC: coordinates the annual Asian Pacific American Awareness Conference
- APIHM: coordinates Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebrations>
- General Member Coordinator: in charge of forming families within APSA and APSA Board; serves as the liaison between APSA Board and the general membership of APSA.
- Public Relations Coordinator: responsible for the production and design of pamphlets, posters, flyers, registration forms, and other writer publicity media for all APSA programs and events
- Historian: responsible for the documentation of all APSA activities, programs, or events via pictures, videotaping, notes, archives, files, etc.
