The forums are closed due to a lack of activity and general migration to using Facebook for most messages. If a decent number of people would like to revive the forums (have a new one made that isn't overrun by preregistered bots that somehow got activated) please email cal.animage.epsilon@gmail.com with "FORUM REVIVAL" in the subject and at least a sentence or two of why you'd like them back. Once we figure out how to turn off all posting and registration, the forums may be reopened in a view-only mode.
