2nd Annual Cookie Bake Off
Fri Dec 10, ET 6th floor
Bake Off Rules:
- Cookies must be original (ie. no store bought brands that are either premade or ready to bake).
- Any type of food toppings or baking ingredients can be used in your cookie. Judges have the right to ask what ingredients went into your cookie.
- You must bake at least 40 cookies. We want people to be able to taste your hard work.
- Cookies must be larger than “penny size” to be eligible. We can’t judge crumbs.
- Please specify whether you have added peanuts or any other type of nut item in your cookie. While the judges will not be allergic to nuts, we would like all our additional taste testers (ie. department faculty, staff and graduate students) to be aware in case of allergies.
Judging:
- Cookies will be judged on taste, presentation and originality.
- Judges cannot be bribed. The ChEMS GSA has already bribed the judges to be impartial.
- Judges will select the best cookie based off taste, presentation and originality. The winner will be awarded the grand prize.
ChemE ties MSE 2-2 after the 4th Annual ChEMS GSA Softball Game
The Chemical Engineers absolutely pounded the Materials Science team in the annual Welcome Week Softball game. Thanks to all who came out to share in this fun and exciting event. Come back next year to see if the ChemE's winning streak will continue or if MSE will come back with a vengence!
