We will be decorating the rose floats, working with various service organizations, broom balling at the Pasadena Ice Skating Rink and there will be food provided at the event! As volunteers we passed out water and powerade sports drinks to the amazing runners and cheered on the runners until they reached the finish line. In the end, we recieved a free breakfast and Disneyland ticket for our services!!! When: September 4, 2011 at 3am-11am Where: Disneyland Return to Divisional Events Page Magic Kingdom OC Food Bank What: Our first 2011-2012 Magic Kingdom Divisonal Service Project was held at the OC Food Bank where Circle Ker's banded together to create food boxes for low-income families and senior citizens. Some of our many tasks are: building food boxes, being a part of the assembly line to pack in food, collecting plastic wrap and other trash in the way of other volunteers and breaking down unused boxes. In the end, it is always rewarding to hear how much boxes we made and how much families we have helped. Operation Safehouse provides emergency and long-term shelters as well as interventions and outreach services to runaways, homeless, exploited, and other youth in crisis. All proceeds go to the Pedtriatric Trauma Program (PTP), one of Circle K's District Fundraising Initiatives (DFI). PTP's goal is to create educational and training programs for pediatric trauma and injury prevention.
