Fundraisers Events to raise money for our DFIs, local organizations and our club. A great way to be more involved is to join the Fundraising Committee. We traditionally plan Korean BBQ sales, Car Washes, All in For Unicef (until it was recently not approved, replaced with Mr. CKI), Eat 4 Services (in conjunction with Socials), and a Sports Tournament.
What: UCI Circle K will be having a fundraiser hosted and performed by a professional hypnotist named Joel. We promise that it'll be an amusing and entertaining night, not to mention, a memorable experience you'll want to share with others! So invite all your friends and come join us! As of now, this is a Magic Kingdom event, but we're currently in the process of inviting other divisions! ![]() What: This event will start off with a stuffed animal collection drive starting Tuesday, May 8th. If you have any clean stuffed animals you would like to donate, please drop them off at tabling on Ring Road or and General meeting. When: Tuesday, May 8th, 2012, to Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 Where: During General Meetings or Tabling on Ring Road Socials They occur after every normal weekly meeting, service projects and regular weekends. This is a great way to make friends with your fellow anteaters and we usually have a good turnout from other schools as well. Special socials occur about once a month and many times during the summer, some of these are in conjunction with our family system. Weekly Park SocialWhat: Every Monday, our Spirit/Socials Chairs, Sam Barke and Lany Dao will have a Park Social with different themes every week! Come out to hang out with Circle K friends! You don't have to stay for the whole time! When: Every Monday, 10:30am - 1:30pm Where: Aldrich Park Board Meetings All members are welcome to join the board in going over past and future projects, discussing their plans for their prospective positions, planning for upcoming general meeting and discussing any issues that have come up during the week EVERY SUNDAY at 6pm in Newport Beach A. This is also the time in which the board votes for members of the week (in which all guests must be excused until board decides who is the member of that week) and also give each other "snaps" (positive notes and thoughts written to each other; guests are allowed to participate too!). Committee Meetings Committee meetings are open to everyone who is interested!!! These meetings are held to not only to reduce the workload on our board members, but to also gain ideas and input from our amazing members to organize fun and exciting upcoming service projects, socials and fundraisers. It is also a great opportunity for members to help organize events and developing leadership and fellowship skills!
