Fundraisers

Events to raise money for our DFIs, local organizations and our club. A great way to be more involved is to join the Fundraising Committee. We traditionally plan Korean BBQ sales, Car Washes, All in For Unicef (until it was recently not approved, replaced with Mr. CKI), Eat 4 Services (in conjunction with Socials), and a Sports Tournament.

Funny Hypnosis Show / Fundraiser

What: UCI Circle K will be having a fundraiser hosted and performed by a professional hypnotist named Joel. We promise that it'll be an amusing and entertaining night, not to mention, a memorable experience you'll want to share with others! So invite all your friends and come join us!

As of now, this is a Magic Kingdom event, but we're currently in the process of inviting other divisions! All proceeds will go to one of CNH's DFIs: Eliminate Project

Family Penny War Fundraiser

What: Get ready for our first FAMILY COMPETITION of the quarter! Every cent counts, so please encourage your family members to donate even one single penny! Eliminate Project

K-Family Events

Saddleback Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast

What: Join Saddleback Kiwanis and help cater a pancake breakfast! We need at least 8 volunteers. This is a great opportunity to mingle with Saddleback Circle K and 3 Key Clubs and to get a FREE hearty pancake breakfast as the start of your day! Volunteer Drivers will receive a gate pass for their cars!

Single Service Projects

Petey's Pals - Collection Drive

What: This event will start off with a stuffed animal collection drive starting Tuesday, May 8th. If you have any clean stuffed animals you would like to donate, please drop them off at tabling on Ring Road or and General meeting.
All animals welcomed
The collection drive will end on Tuesday, May 15 at General meeting. If you would like to arrange a drop off on another day, please contact Michelle or Samantha

Socials

They occur after every normal weekly meeting, service projects and regular weekends. This is a great way to make friends with your fellow anteaters and we usually have a good turnout from other schools as well. Special socials occur about once a month and many times during the summer, some of these are in conjunction with our family system.

Weekly Park Social

What: Every Monday, our Spirit/Socials Chairs, Sam Barke and Lany Dao will have a Park Social with different themes every week! Come out to hang out with Circle K friends! You don't have to stay for the whole time!

When: Every Monday, 10:30am - 1:30pm

Board Meetings

All members are welcome to join the board in going over past and future projects, discussing their plans for their prospective positions, planning for upcoming general meeting and discussing any issues that have come up during the week EVERY SUNDAY at 6pm in Newport Beach A. This is also the time in which the board votes for members of the week (in which all guests must be excused until board decides who is the member of that week) and also give each other "snaps" (positive notes and thoughts written to each other; guests are allowed to participate too!).

Committee Meetings

Committee meetings are open to everyone who is interested!!! These meetings are held to not only to reduce the workload on our board members, but to also gain ideas and input from our amazing members to organize fun and exciting upcoming service projects, socials and fundraisers. It is also a great opportunity for members to help organize events and developing leadership and fellowship skills!

Fundraising Committee: Planning larger fundraisers and making the smaller ones a success! Come to committee meetings EVERY MONDAY at 5pm in Humanities Hall [HH] 320!!!

Scrapbook Committee: Briainstorm ideas for the scrapbook that we will be submittingto DCON! Our committee meetings EVERY THURSDAY from 7-8pm in Student Center Food Court

Single Service Committee: Planning quarterly large scale projects and often raise funds to make those projects even more meaningful at our committee meetings EVERY TUESDAY from 5pm-6pm in Humanities Hall [HH] 178.

Spirit/Social Committee: Preparing for skits and teach members our spirit cheers that are commonly used at district, divisional and club events such as Fall Training Conference (FTC), District Convention (DCON). Come to our COMMITTEE MEETING WEDNESDAY FROM 6PM-8PM in Humanities Hall [HH] 236 and help us organize socials and create new cheers!!!

Technology Committee: Plan and provide ideas for the 2012-2013 Website! Contact our Technology Chair, Brian Chew, with any questions and concerns with their website tasks in developing and maintaining the website that you are reading right now. Committee meetings EVERY THURSDAY from 6pm-7pm in Humanities Hall [HH] 105
