I am the vine, you are the branches. If anyone remains in me and I in him he will bear much fruit (John 15:5)

What to expect

We can't guarantee that every study that we host will follow this exact format, but this general outline should hold true for most of our meetings.

Communal worship

We believe that worshiping God is one of the most important things that we can do as Christians. As such, we like to open our meetings by spending some time worshiping God together in song.

Manuscript study

We believe that the Bible is one of the primary mediums through which God reveals his truth to us. As such, we believe that reading and discussing the Bible is crucial to our development as followers of Christ. If you have a Bible, feel free to bring it. However, we will provide a printout of the passage. We will also remove chapter and verse divisions from the passage to allow it to read more naturally.

in our manuscript studies, we begin by reading through the passage. Once everyone has finished, we discuss the passage as a group. During our discussion, we are open to questions and comments of any kind so long as they are constructive and synergistic. Our goal in these studies is to grow closer to both Christ and to one another.

Group prayer

Once we have finished our discussion, we break up into groups of 2 or 3 to pray for one another. We spend this time thanking God for the beautiful things that he has done in our lives, requesting help and guidance in overcoming the challenges in our lives, and praying that He would help us to apply what we have learned in our discussion.
