DIRECTIONS to University of Calif. Irvine (UCI)
and to SMITH HALL
(building #710, next to #725, on the map - see picture below or full map, grid area D4)
Coming on 405 Fwy - Exit on Culver Drive and go towards UCI (West) about 1.5 mile,
turn RIGHT on Campus Drive and go 0.5 mile past the University Center mall on the right -
- to the intersection of Campus Drive with Bridge Rd. (right) and West Peltason Dr. (left).
From this intersection - you have two options:
1. To park in the University Center mall (for free):
Turn RIGHT on Bridge Road and RIGHT into mall;
From there, WALK (about 5 min) -
- Go back to the corner of Bridge Road and Campus Drive;
Cross Bridge Road and then cross Campus Drive and
follow straight on West Peltason Drive (on its the right-hand side);
Cross Pereira Road and immediately go RIGHT - up on a Driveway;
then turn LEFT just past first building on the left (#714) -
- on a Walkway into the Arts Plaza;
SMITH HALL (#710) is the first next building on the LEFT.
2. To DROP passengers CLOSER to SMITH HALL:
Turn LEFT on West Peltason Drive, cross Pereira Drive and
then immediately go RIGHT - up on a Driveway and
stop just past first building on the left (#714);
From there, WALK (< 1 min) -
LEFT on a Walkway into the Arts Plaza;
SMITH HALL (#710) is the first next building on the LEFT.
