QUICK SETTINGS INFO for ADVANCED USERS

If you already know how to configure e-mail, ftp, web, and database stuff and just want the basic info, here are the settings you can try for a group whose username is 'username'...


   E-MAIL (POP, IMAP, or both)
   username@mail.clubs.uci.edu
   pop/mail server : mail.clubs.uci.edu
   smtp server : mail.clubs.uci.edu

   MAILMAN
   address : username-list@mail.clubs.uci.edu
   admin : http://mail.clubs.uci.edu/mailman/admin/username-list

   FTP (active/passive) - use Secure FTP if possible
   host : mail.clubs.uci.edu
   user : username
   pass : password

   MYSQL
   host : localhost
   db : username
   user : username
   password : password


NOTE : 'username' is typically the same for all services but passwords can vary for e-mail/ftp, Mailman, and MySQL.
