CIS DOWNLOADS READ MEWelcome to the UCI CIS server downloads area. Many of the items we used to have here are so old and outdated that we decided not to offer them any more, but we will add new items for download as we research and have a chance to update things.
For e-mail, we recommend Thunderbird from
http://www.getthunderbird.com.
For FTP on Windows, we recommend using CoreFTP and have provided the latest version as of November 2006. If you'd like to find a newer version, you can check at
http://www.download.com.
For FTP on Mac, we recommend Fetch which is available from the
UCI Mac Archive, but this archive is only accessible from UCI campus networks.
We may add other downloads later, as time allows, but we do not want to confuse people with too many choices or have to support too many products, so we're keeping it simple for now.
