Configurations & Settings

If you already know how to configure e-mail, ftp, web, and database stuff and just want the basic info, here are the settings you can try for a group whose username is 'username'...
- E-MAIL (POP, IMAP, or both)
- username@mail.clubs.uci.edu
- pop/mail server : mail.clubs.uci.edu
- smtp server : mail.clubs.uci.edu
- MAILMAN
- address : username-list@mail.clubs.uci.edu
- admin : http://mail.clubs.uci.edu/mailman/admin/ (add 'username-list' to the end of the trailing slash '/' for your list)
- FTP (active/passive) - use Secure FTP if possible
- host : mail.clubs.uci.edu
- user : username
- pass : password
- MYSQL
- host : localhost
- db : username
- user : username
- password : password
NOTE : 'username' is typically the same for all services but passwords can vary for e-mail/ftp, Mailman, and MySQL.
