CORE Account email server settings for @CLUBS.UCI.EDU accounts

• Client programs (e.g. Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, Windows Live Mail)
  • We recommend that you always use IMAP when asked for server information.
• Web clients (e.g. Gmail/Google Mail, Yahoo! Mail)
  • We recommend that you always use POP when asked for server information.
  • We also recommend that you use the following options (if available):
    • Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server - to keep a backup on a UCI server in case you lose the other account

Your CORE e-mail address

• E-mail address: CLUBNAME@clubs.uci.edu
• Reply-to address: CLUBNAME@clubs.uci.edu or CLUBNAME@mail.clubs.uci.edu

Mail server (IMAP) settings

• Server address: mail.clubs.uci.edu
• Port number: use 143 unless you specify SSL; 993 should be used for SSL (secure) connections

Outgoing server (SMTP) settings

• Server address: mail.clubs.uci.edu
• Port number: use 25 unless you specify SSL; 465 should be used for SSL (secure) connections
  • If not using SSL, you can use 587 instead; We recommend that you try 25 first.

POP settings

• Server address: mail.clubs.uci.edu
• Port number: Use 110 unless you specify SSL; 995 should be used for SSL (secure) connections
