Fire FTP

- FireFTP is a free, open source, cross-platform FTP client for Mozilla Firefox and other browsers based off Firefox such as GNU IceCat. FireFTP is available in the form of a browser add-on. It supports FTP, FTPS, and SFTPoff.
Obtaining FireFTP
- The latest version of of the FireFTP is available from their website or alternatively from Mozilla's add-on website. Source code is also available.
- FireFTP client is distributed free of charge under a dual license of the GNU General Public License Version 2.0 and Mozilla Public License Version 1.1.
Using FireFTP with your CORE Account
- After installing FireFTP open the FTP interface by selecting FireFTP from the tools menu in your browser
- To connect to an FTP server you can either hit QuickConnect and enter the sites name or hit create account for FireFTP to remember your sites settings.
- To connect to the CORE/Clubs FTP server use the corresponding information.
- Use of SFTP encryption is encouraged.
- On the left pane is the local file systems and on the right is the remote FTP server. Files can be transferred by dragging and dropping.
